This is the story of 5-year-old Tyler, adopted from the foster care system, and told through the heart of his adoptive mother. Through the eyes of Tyler's adoptive mom and grandmother, this memoir takes us through their journey and the first-hand challenges of parenting a child with special needs. They share their deepest feelings and fears with us. Their story includes valuable tools that were used to keep him safe and preserve their sanity during these tumultuous times.
